Baba on Wells is a popular café in Frankston, well-known for serving some of the most delectable Vietnamese cuisine in town. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining spaces, and their customers have the option to place takeaway orders as well. Initially, I was approached by Van, the owner of Baba on Wells, to create a website that would enable online ordering. However, during our discussions, Van also expressed her desire to upgrade the cafe's point of sale (POS) system.

That's when we decided to go for Square (squareup.com.au) an all-in-one system that offers seamless integration between the POS and online ordering systems. After thorough research, we concluded that Square was the perfect fit for Baba on Wells.

As part of the upgrade process, I took care of everything that Baba on Wells needed to streamline their order taking processes. This included setting up the necessary hardware (one Square stand, one cash drawer, and two printers) and configuring the backend settings to ensure that all menu items were displayed correctly.

Once the new POS system was thoroughly tested, we activated the website to allow customers to place their orders online for pickup in store. The website works in perfect sync with the POS system, ensuring that any updates made to the menu items are reflected in both systems.
